Our farm-direct matcha is made from green tea leaves cultivated in the Uji region of Kyoto, Japan. Tea masters carefully select first harvest leaves full of deep flavour and nutrients. These leaves are regarded as the highest quality with the most concentrated source of antioxidants. First-harvest leaves are especially rich in L-theanine, which support concentration, and chlorophyll, which provides detoxifying properties and imparts its vibrant, green hue.
The leaves are stone-ground into a delicate, fine powder with a slow and intentional process to ensure highest quality matcha. This yields a luxury-grade matcha with a robust, full-bodied flavour profile.
Packaged in a dual-lined mylar pouch with an oxygen absorber to maintain maximum freshness and flavour. Matcha oxidizes quickly so it's important to keep it stored in an air-tight seal. Best if used within 3 months of opening.
