Butterfly Pea (Clitoria ternatea)
Certified organic butterfly pea flowers from the lush Petchabun region in Thailand.
The butterfly pea flower, also known as Clitoria ternatea, is native to Southern Asia and thrives in tropical climates.
The flowers are rich in antioxidants and well known for their striking deep blue colour.
Butterfly pea flowers make a caffeine-free herbal tea that can be enjoyed hot or cold, and their delicate floral aroma and mild flavour make for a refreshing and soothing beverage. All you need is 4-5 flowers per cup of tea.
In addition to brewing tea, they can be used in a variety of ways to add a pop of blue colour to smoothies, cocktails, desserts, and even for naturally dyeing fabrics.
